Warwick

- an ancient town on the River Avon in central England. It is the administrative centre of the county of Warwickshire. It contains Warwick Castle, a very popular tourist attraction, the earliest parts of which were built in the 14th century. The town also has other buildings from the Middle Ages, although many of these were destroyed in a fire in 1694.
