noun- a member of a group of native North American peoples who live in the US states of Arizona and New MexicoCultureThe groups include the Hopi and the Zuni. They are descended from the Anasazi people who lived in cliff houses, some of which can be seen in the Mesa Verde National Park. They now live in communities called pueblos and build their houses of dried clay, called adobe.
