Dartington

- a centre for arts and country crafts in and around Dartington Hall, a large 14th-century house in Devon in south-west England. It was started in the 1920s. Until 1987 there was also a school there, which was known for its freedom and new ideas on methods of education. Since 1953 the Dartington International Summer School of music and song has been held there.
