'Baby Face' Nelson

- (1908-34) a US criminal, born Lester Gillis in Chicago. He worked for a time with Al Capone and later robbed banks with John Dillinger and 'Pretty Boy' Floyd. He was named ‘ Public Enemy No 1 ’ by the FBI in 1934 after killing several people. Soon afterwards he was shot dead by FBI men during a gun battle in Barrington, Illinois.
