Rover

- a former British company that made cars, especially large, expensive ones. Two of its best-known cars were the Land Rover and the Range Rover. It started in Coventry in 1904. It was taken over by the German company BMW in 1994 and sold again in 2000. It became a smaller company called MG Rover which collapsed in 2005.
