Honolulu

- the capital city of the US state of Hawaii. It is a major port on the south-eastern coast of the island of Oahu, and sugar and pineapples are processed there. The University of Hawaii is in Honolulu, and so is Pearl Harbor, the home of the US Pacific Fleet. The city is very popular with tourists, especially Waikiki beach.
