Fletcher Christian

- (c. 1764-c. 1794) the leader of the mutiny on HMS Bounty against Captain Bligh, who had originally been his close friend. Christian took the Bounty to Tahiti, and later moved on with some of the other sailors and some Tahitians to the Pitcairn Islands.
