- a US cartoon character created in the early 1920s by Otto Messmer (1892-1982). Felix is a black-and-white cat who has big eyes and is innocent and happy. He first appeared in silent films in 1921. Charles Lindbergh carried a Felix toy for good luck during his famous flight over the Atlantic Ocean. There are also Felix comics and a Felix television series.
