- a US company started in the 1930s by Wally Byam which makes trailers (= vehicles without an engine that can be pulled behind a car and which people can sleep in) which are are known for their classic, rounded, silver design. Some people like to buy, repair and decorate old Airstreams and there is a club for owners called the Wally Byam Caravan Club International.
